#Grief is a natural emotional response to losing beloved living being or something important to one who has experienced loss.
Grief is not only for loss of someone but someother related to dignity, justice, visibility. Recent covid19 pandemic has invaded a many part of the society damaging a few parts of a family beginning from a child, teenager, adult, middle aged and elderly parents . Grief and Grieving is unique to each one . Loss of a loved one due to covid19 in ICU causes emotional disaster being deprived of caring with soft touch and funeral rites. Grief is everlasting, teaches us how to cope with. Elisabeth said, " Death is but a transition from this life to another existence where there is no more pain or anguish." Long suffering (like dementia, Parkinson's, cancer)of the loved one in the family from unbearable pain has an impact on the family Caregiver #invisible_patient suffering from #compassionate_fatigue_and_burn_out , gets relief after the death of the person in the sense that he/she is free from pain, though grieving process will continue.
During pandemic elderly persons in the family suffer from depression having experienced loss of devotional gathering, loss of evening and morning park gathering, being excluded from the whole family suffering from lonliness a critical disease, no body is ready to listen to and feel their pain within consequently number of psychotic elderly patients is growing in leaps and bounds .
. The children lose their childhood being imprisoned in a room surrounded by four walls at home, no recreation, no social contact, no gathering of friends. The teenagers during this trying time of covid19 pandemic are deprived of mixing and chatting in person with the classmates , suffer from boredom always sitting in front of the computer for on-line class teaching which they are not accustomed to . The reflection of the situation is grave , sometimes behaving #rudely with the other members of the family who are drowned in anxiety and worry leading to severe #mental_stress and physical illness. Loss of interaction and recreation become the source of diseases specially mental health status deteriorates .
Loss of jobs during the pandemic is another disaster which is beyond management.
Caring for elderly persons  and children is an invisible art and  during the pandemic worry, anxiety and burn out of the caregiver are the worst phenomenon.
#Anticipatory_Grief is the ultimate consequence of the trying time of the covid19, the most intelligent corona virus, we all are apprehending of being in the arena of #Grief_and_Grieving.
Support group , Palliative Care volunteers with Compassionate heart and empathy are the need of the hour to maintain the #sustainable_enviornment of physical and mental health.

GOOD DEATH

#TOUCH_HEALING_BOND# #NONVERBAL_COMMUNICATION# #PALLIATIVE_CARE# #LOVE#              #A_SOFT_TOUCH_SYMBOL_OF_LOVE#     Touch symbolises LOVE, the terminal patient with non-communicable disease like cancer 🦀 needs from the loved one, the primary caregiver. I observed myself when I just placed my palm on her head just before her journey to the unknown world, her eyes , opened in pain before death, became closed being relieved of pain, looked calm.      The unique experience I gained : at the time of her dying moment, I put my hand on her forehead and chanted a prayer, it was a marvel to me she smelled the sense even in her vegetative state and the soul departed immediately with peace, I could honestly feel .        So the soft loving touch promotes physical and psychological well-being .

DREAMS BEFORE THE DYING

Many experience vivid and meaningful dreams and visions just a few days before dying. American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Care on studying focus primarily on the perspective of the patient that most dreams are the source of personal comfort, peace, acceptance of death --- a transition from dreaming about living person to dreaming about the dead.      My beloved wife with cancer combated two and a half year with her indomitable spirit and willpower. She left me three years and six months, I still miss her a lot. I was the sole caregiver for her. I was the witness of a many incident, the most interesting is her dream.  1. During her ongoing chemotherapy she frequently dreamt that she was drowning in the river. Oneday she dreamt that she was saved by a small boy from drowning. When she shared I opined that treatment might be responding , a message of recovery. It comforted her, may be the little boy , representative of God. 2. Oneday sh...
